  1. All items must be paid for in full before despatch
  2. Payments made by cheque if not cleared by Transax are subject to 10 working days clearance from receipt
  3. Doors & Floors Galore share informantion with Handsome Handles - If this is not acceptable please - pay by phone and not direct from the website
  4. Special order or manufactured products must be paid for in full and no refund will be given unless faulty
  5. Cancelation of non stock items prior to delivery are subject to a 25% restocking charge
  6. We reserve the right to refuse the return of any correctly supplied goods that have been ordered by the customer either by visiting our premises - by telephone/email or via our website which have been supplied as to the customers request and refused or returned on arrival at the delivery address Delivery charges & Returns charges will not be refunded and a minimum of a 25% restocking charge will apply 
  7. Refunds willl not be made until the items have been returned to us and inspected to make sure that the items are in the same condition that they were when despatched
  8. Delivery out of the 50 miles radius is by courier and is usually within 10 working days this may be longer due to volume of sales at any one particular time a full refund will not be given if goods do not arrive before 30 days - It is important with deliveries to try and accept goods when the courier is in your area if not this can mean delays out of our control and we will not accept cancellation due extended delivery times
  9. If opting to have goods delivered out of our own local delivery area then once the goods have left our premises it is important to liase with the courier to obtain a delivery date
  10. The cost of delivery and returns is down to the customer unless goods are faulty at the time of delivery
  11. Any correspondence regarding the return of goods or refunds must be done via email when ever possible if an email address is not available then via telephone
  12. Goods must be inspected when delivered as any damage will not be accepted later
  13. All timber products must be stored flat and in a dry environment
  14. All doors either Internal or External are Engineered - This means that the doors are over veneered and that the internal structure will be made up of mixed species - special care must be taken when treating engineered doors and we stress that Varnish/ Water based products/Oils/Wax or Wood preservatives are not suitable for use on these doors - If in doubt what to use please contact our in house decorator
  15. All timber products must be treated prior to hanging with an oil based high performance wood stain eg Sikkens  – varnish (Not suitable for some External Doors Please read manufacturers recommendations) – primer – base coat–top coat to the Recommended level i.e. internal doors minimum of 2 coats and external 4 coats with the final application applied after fitting All cut outs hinges – lock and letter boxes including top & bottoms of doors must be treated with the same amount
  16. Engineered doors must not be treated with Danish Oil or anything similar
  17. It is recommended that pre-glazed external doors after hanging have clear silicone run round the edge of the glass both inside and out
  18. All doors must be thoroughly inspected prior to treatment or hanging of both wood and glass as a refund for products or joiners fees will not be made
  19. Before fitting it is recommended that the instruction affixed to the door be read carefully
  20. Any pre-finished door will lose its guarantee if the finish is removed and retreated
  21. Doors & Floors Galore reserve the right to change pricing without notice throughout the website and reserve the right not to sell
